AdoDigitFam Research Lab

Identifying patterns of connection & dis-connection in the network society

OUR PURPOSE
AdoDigitFam is a research lab focused on Adolescents, Digital Media, and Family Dynamics. AdoDigitFam was born from the recognition that we are living in a transformative era, characterised by what sociologist Manuel Castells terms the 'network society.' This insight propels us to delve into the intersection of systemic psychotherapy and technology.

At DigitAdoFam Research Lab, we are passionate about studying the impact of technology on social relationships and well-being. This lab started thanks to a Marie Skolodowska-Curie research grant Marina was awarded in 2015. My interest in technologies emerged from the observation of everyday life interactions between parents and children.

Our research projects are centred around exploring the role of the digital in family and children's relationships.

Our mission is to promote a positive and safe use of technology, and we are committed to providing insights that help children, adolescents and families navigate the digital landscape.
